ICF Cornwall were appointed to complete the Nudura installation of floors two, three and four. Using one of the biggest concrete pumps in the country, 57m from Reillys, a total of over 190 cubic metres of concrete went into floors two and three. The entire build used Nudura 6″(150mm) blocks and the Nudura One Series for the elevator shafts. Steel reinforcing within the blocks was primarily to withstand the onshore wind. In December and January, wind speeds of up to 75mph forced the team to retreat but the rain, snow, hail and occasional sunshine made for ideal polystyrene working conditions.

Each apartment has at least two floor to ceiling windows with lintel details of over two metres. Separate to the main block are two service wells containing main access stairs and two elevator shafts. The super sturucture is a combination of steel reinforced Nudura, pre cast concrete slab floors and a range of supporting steels. Due to the nature of the build, the majority of the main subdividing walls are Nudura as well resulting in over 300m of wall per floor.
The final roof has been covered with solar panals, hidden from view by a parapet wall.
