Detached "L" Shaped Bungalow with Garage
The challenge of delivering an “L” shaped 75m² bungalow that filled 80% of the plot! A straightforward shape with simple lines and conservative window openings. This build benefits from an integral garage which is separated from the main living accommodation by an ICF wall running full height to the roof apex. When internally and externally finished, ICF generally achieves a 4 hour fire rating so is ideal for separating living spaces from areas which present greater fire risks.
ICF Cornwall Ltd was contracted to deliver all ground preparation, laying foundations and floor slab and installation of Nudura ICF walls. As we benefit from having certified excavator drivers on the team, ICF Cornwall were able to supply a one stop shop for the client making this development a reality.
