ICF Cornwall Ltd was contracted by ICF Direct to provide Nudura installation services, a role that involved building over 1600 square metres of walls. Each unit was fitted with Kryton Waterstop Systems for which ICF Cornwall is an authorised installer and made use of waterproof concrete in below ground level walls.
NHBC approved Nudura was used for all external and some internal walls with a variety of wall thicknesses depending on the position within the buildings. Using ICF or insulated Solid Wall construction for basements and retaining walls which are part of the thermal envelope is a fantastic time saving option and can be combined with a multitude of waterproofing systems.
Each unit is either three storeys or two storeys with walk-out basements. The finishes include render, ashlar stone, rough stone or red cedar. All complimented by beautifully finished zinc roofing.
